Don't be. He and his family have become complete melodrama.

This does feel a lot like the whole Mustain saga...

I am happier every day that we are getting Felipe Franks who does not appear in the least bit to be a prima donna.

Not gonna lie none of ya'll need to worry about this. IMG isn't a "package deal" school and everyone is so busy training and running around and enjoying their sport that they don't have time to sit around and bullshite about colleges as much as normal high school students do.

At IMG, colleges are viewed as a means to achieve your ultimate goal of playing professional sports, they're not a fad and nobody buys into the hype train. It's why you're not seeing Florida State pull 8 recruits a year from there, nobody's going to flip to Ole Miss because they like Shea or think he's cool. They have a full supporting cast of psychiatrists, coaches, and mentors there to guide them through what the best move for their career is and following Shea Patterson anywhere isn't a good reason to change your life path.

So don't worry about guys like Saivion flipping to Ole Miss after he gets there

I don't think most sensible ranters were thinking Savion would flip, but more that Shavar would be the main target. imo

I appreciate the IMG insight btw

Yea I agree I was just giving an example but I can promise that Shavar's decision will have absolutely nothing to do with Shea Patterson. Shavar will probably know Shea loosely at best considering he's a dlineman and Shea is a quarterback. I knew probably 15% of the students in my grade and I went there for 4 years if that's any indication of the way it operates

anytime man. Figured I might as well clear up some of the uncertainties for everybody and save ya'll some time and stress since there's so much random bullshite being thrown around about the school these days

Here is the funny part...all of you who are talking crap about this kid will cry a river if Ole Miss beat the Brakes off of LSU with Shea as their starting QB!

Greedy, Eddie P, KT2, Adams, Monroe, Zay Lewis, and Smith would like to know who he's gonna throw it to.

Would you say he was a gym rat as well? Does he have deceptive speed?

You can try to play it off all you want, but there's obviously some sour grapes that LSU didn't land him. He was MVP of the Elite 11 and has mad skills -- to say you didn't want him is pure idiocy.

I'll take the guy that doesn't have handlers in his circle.

The board was pretty split. Some wanted Shea, some wanted Franks. I really didn't care, just wanted one of them.

Sad there are parents out there like that. Don't be fooled this wasn't Shea's decision
The all knowing Olddog returns to the board. Mr Parterson would kick your butt if he knew the kind of crap you posted on these boards. "She will be at LSU." Just shut up and give it a rest dude!

I don't care about the family being jerks, I don't care if any kid has handlers, as a fan you should want the best player on the field unless whomever's in discussion has personality issues that might lead them to knock out somebody at a bar or misrepresent the university in some way and I don't think Shea does. Honestly I'm just glad to have a great qb in franks to look forward to because we could have ended up with nothing but folks giving out these bs reasons for not wanting shea sound like they're trying to get over their old ex's. The kid can ball, so can the kid we got. Leave it at that
