I went to IMG from 2005 to 2009 and yea he's going for free. Anyone that can get them that much publicity doesn't have to pay, he's an investment for them at this point considering they'll be able to secure him as a client for their sports agency in a few years if they get him in Bradenton right now. This is also the time that all of the new recruits transfer there

wtf..
i just hope he doesn't flip any guys in florida, but yes this is good to get him out of louisiana.
still wish he would have wanted to be a Tiger.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe they smell blood in the water with Shavar. I don't think his uncle needs a house though.

At the end of the day he will be on a SEC roster, competing for a job. This would have happened if he had just kicked back and enjoyed his last two years....and he wouldn't have had to tie himself to his brother.

this kid and his whole family are so sketchy.

Does anyone else see Brock Berlin when they see Patterson?
That is not to say that he won't do well in college, heck in the right system I think Berlin could have been a great college QB. But Like Berlin, Patterson is a limited upside guy with better prep and resources than 99% of HS QBs out there. Who knows if that kind of kid can make the difficult throw in a pro style system with a speed rusher coming from his blind side.

If Primerica had a high school, I think this kid and his family would be a great match there

I don't care anyone says...it's going to hurt losing this dude. He looks really really good. I'm sure Franks will be good too but Shea just looks like he's on another level right now. Would've been nice to get both.

Two five star quarterbacks at IMG

Who is the other one? One guy just left to go back to California.

He would be the first QB recruited from high school by Freese to actually pan out if he's successful. So there's that.

I thought Malik Henry. Is he leaving? I didn't know.

I wonder how this will effect his recruitment. Maybe big brother mysteriously ends up at FSU now.

I thought so too, but evidently he got kicked out of school.

He'll be really good in Freeze's system and is a great HS QB, but it won't hurt us because we have a prospect coming in that fits us better and has a much higher ceiling.
This isn't a Louisiana kid either. Its different than a Cam Rob or something like that.
If you were given the choice between Franks and Shea, who'd you honestly choose? I'd pick Franks 10/10 right now. 2 years ago, I'd pick Shea, but Franks has come a longgg way and appears to have a great head on his shoulders to go with elite natural size and talent.

We don't have the best track record either besides Perrilloux and an SEC Championship......Miles recruited qbs share the same fate.

No question, Shea. I hate to say it. But I've watched the kid and he's as polished as you can be at that age. He's gonna do well at OM.
