I agree. If he were my kid, he would be going to prep school for a year.

Or he could to college one hour away

Well, if it were my kid, LSU would be where he is going. Only paper I would sign. Also, I wouldn't want to send my 17 year old kid out of the house. In addition, he isn't going to be a big contributor next year, so I would prefer for him to beef up, get better, and mature. Then, he would still have 5 years of eligibility. If he blows up, he could still leave for the league 2 years into college.

Not saying going straight to college is wrong, just what I'd do.

This opinion is probably from my basketball background, where this is frequently done.

Thank you for understanding my post and defending it, and I'm definitely not confusing him with Roddy, whose also gonna be great. This news stuck out to me because I started school early, I didn't turn 17 til January of my senior year, it hurt me as a prospect because that extra year or two would have benefitted me greatly, so when I look at what Sci did that young it makes it even more impressive and he has much more room to improve than 90-95% of this class because of this fact, I really hope we get him, I believe we will, between Key, Anthony, Sci etc. we are gonna have a crazy amount if pass rushers in the next few years

I coached a kid who turned 17 in March of his senior year. He earned a baseball scholly to Rice and was throwing low 90s at that age. If he were 19, like some, I cannot imagine how dominate he would be.

Dont need to go to prep school to achieve this. He could do this at LSU as well. Get into the weight program to beef up, start understanding the playbook, practicing with the team, coached by our coaches, breakdown film, etc.

He could redshirt and still have 4 years left, but I wouldn't be shocked if he contributed on special teams as a true freshman either. 6'4 230lbs and atheltic.

People need to stop focusing on age. Sure, he's young and all that. But he's already got good size and athleticism. He's just as physically ready as a lot of our recruits, and more so than some. If he's good enough to contribute early on, then he will. Regardless of age.

That's if he does indeed sign with us, of course.

No matter how good he is, he would always be better with an extra year. But I understand your logic.

First, I don't need the money. Second, I hate those mother frickers. I told my hot waitress today who was wearing a Bama cap to take it off if she wanted a tip of any kind.

This guy is going to get more attention than almost any recruit with signing day having passed and 2017 so far into the future. It's one of the only solid things we have to talk about lol.

Wow, you really appear to have some anger issues -- grammar issues, too. You really should consider going back to lurking.
