Bama pays more for its coaching staff....more for recruiting. They are buying it.
Then lets do away with Ensminger and re-channel his salary and benefits into the recruiting budget. Miles can coach the TEs.
I really believe that would be a better use of money.

They'll probably get looks there. I guess it will depend on their camp performance. Smooth hips=CB possibility. Jefferson is fast, so speed isn't a concern. Diarse, I don't know. He ran a 4.8 at the combine. That is pretty slow for a skill position player. Not sure what surface they were running on though.

Im not placing blame. Im just pointing out the facts.
While bama outspends everyone.....LSU is charging to park.
You folks have to see it for what it is.
Also i have never been able to find out just how many people coach on $abuns staff. I'm not just talking about assistants but also assistants to assistants and TA. Seems like his coaching staff is huge.
I could go on discussing the negative ripple affect $abuns hire has had on CFB in general but thats a whole other topic.
The fact is LSU better put up and match bama not just in effort on and off the field but in every other area as well.

That's because you're jealous as hell.
I don't care if they lose the top 3, as long as they find replacements for the lost three that are remotely comparable, let them go.
Has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy. It has to with the program has had its best stretch in history over the past 12 years, and the one constant in that time is that LSU consistently kept the Louisiana kids that they wanted at home. Its not always the 15 or so players that are rated highest by recruiting services; its the 15 or so kids that the program believes are the best for the team.

Don't worry about recruiting. Due to probation we've had to lay low for a while. We'll be back to walking the NCAA violation tightrope soon..

Is Miles a saint? No. But he isn't pulling the level of shite that Saban does. You have to wonder why kids sign up for abuse from the likes of Woody Hayes, Bobby Knight, and Nick Saban, and it's b/c those coaches won and were able to convince players that they had a better chance of getting to the next level under their tutelage. BS? Sure, but impressionable lads are wont to be wooed by snake oil salesmen. And, truth be told, Saban has won and his methods, sleazy as they are, are working. Until enough people in Louisiana call him on his BS and tell him he's not welcome in our schools (rather than cozying up to him to get photo ops, etc.), it will continue. At least Collins' mom saw through it but she wasn't able to convince her kid otherwise. And SHE'S the villain, right?

I don't think it's cheating, i think is pretty much the norm now. I wonder if Cam was the most expensive recruitment ever...

well, if bama gets the #1 and 2 players in the state again, it'd be pretty disconcerting.

He's just trying to win games.

They do it because those guys were the best and so is Saban. Add to that the fact that Alabama is one of the most successful programs of all-time (and is currently on top again) and you have lots of kids who want to go there.

Two things:
1.) I fully expect Saban to recruit La. hard and competitive.
2.) I think too many offers out to La kids can backfire on him. Bama is the king in Alabama, start offering 4-6 guys from La, 2-3 from Fl, and 3 or 4 from points elsewhere. He will open the door for inroads to the historic Bama strongholds by the likes of Chizik.
