There must be some smoke, right?

The only smoke Ive read was, LSUs coaches feel good about where they are.

Why would Les and LSU bring in a kid 100% sold on his verbal to another school?

Happens all the time in recruiting.

Reed doesnt seem like the type thats playing games. I think he was pretty torn between us and auburn, but would be suprised if he backed off his commitment to Auburn. He may still be torn, dunno.

I have always thought that he would stick with Auburn but our coaches have to be getting some kind of positive feedback from him considering the way we are slow playing some of our supposed top targets like Boone and Parker. If they are going on just a hope and a wish then something is wrong with them.Either #'s are tighter than we think or he is giving good feedback.

...

You are a tool. It's not that big of a deal if a kid wants to go out of state for college.

He also said a few weeks ago that LSU needs to respect his decision to go to Auburn.

He interest in LSU is miniscule. Don't know why you guys start threads on him all the time when LSU is pretty much out of it.

Do not worry, he won't. He wants nothing to do with LSU, has made that pretty clear, but will enjoy a visit and get some nice co-ed arse most likely.

Traitors who abandon Louisiana and pledge their allegiance to an enemy of LSU have not faired well lately. Let him stab us in the back at his own peril!

I don't think this kid should be allowed to visit LSU. He has made it clear he doesn't want to go there. Why should he be given the privelege of visiting if he doesn't appreciate it?

From the info I've gathered, he isn't exactly the next coming of anything, so why should I care that he is leaving the state. Like others have said, if we were hurting at receiver, losing a decent player like him would be relevant.

I'm not sure how this is stabbing LSU in the back. He's been very open throughout the process. It's not like he committed and switched last minute to someone else.

So Sheppard and Lobston shouldnt leave Texas? Marsh should commit to USC? Spencer Ware should commit to Ohio State? Ur ideology is dumb if you think LSU is superior enough to keep a player in-state when he doesnt want to

Everyone knows that rules are different for the self/family and for others - when it happens to you it is treachery, when it happens to others, there is a justifiable logical reason

I don't know why everyone is still wanting this kid to come here. He obviously doesn't want to come here. I feel like most people want for the same reason that want Lache, THEY JUST WANT HIM!!! Why not try harder for kids that we can actually sway? Fobbs has said that LSU has never left the picture which is saying something to me. Wright is also interested, and Boone seems interested as well.
