Hope we get him because l think he will be a stud in a few years. If he wouldn't have reclassified this year he would have been one of the top players in the country if not #1

Some of the players that we have could easily slide to NG. This guy is fairly lean for a big guy and is mobile. I like him at tackle.

I think Shelvin plays before Mathis. Maybe long before...
But Wilson is what it's all its all about.
The rest shrink into insignificance compared to Wilson...

What do you mean by him being reclassified?

think Mathis plays over Shelvin at this point, but who knows after some college-level development.

I don't see it that way, Mathis needs to work on his technique. Shelvin has it, just needs to drop some bad weight.

If we land Mathis we will lose Farrell to FSU.

Not sure if that's an even trade, I really like Farrells film.

Same here in the 1 on 1's Shelvin really shines quick for his size and has really good technique at this stage. Like everyone says the only thing he needs is to shed some bad weight

Mathis & Shelvin are 2 different position players. One is a NT and the other will play DT/DE. Can never have enough great DL.

Shelvin will man the middle along with Alexander. Wouldn't Mathis and Wilson likely play DE in our scheme?

Also, Coach O asked Bubby Brister to come visit Mathis as well. Bubby and O are very close friends.
