Was it ever really gone?

Rashard Lawrence was a huge pickup

It will sting a lot less if/when we pick up Marvin Wilson

My gut says we get him. That means absolutely nothing but I have a good feeling about him

It looks like a toss up with LSU and Alabama. Bring on NSD

I would love to have him, more depth and you take him from Bama, but if we can pull Wilson I feel like it would be hard to put this guy on the field. Between Ed Alexander, Rashard Lawrence, Marvin Wilson, and Tyler Shelvin, how many DTs can honestly get playing time in a 3-4?

Got a good buddy who is pretty well connected around the Monroe area, and he keeps telling me the feeling is that the Tigers land Mathis. Nothing to hang your hat on, just passing on some encouraging hear say.

LSU used to be stacked with big defensive lineman in the early to mid 2000's.. look at those results we produced on the field.

You can never have too many.

What is JJ27 hearing on Mathis? I think he's a Monroe guy.

I think Mathis plays over Shelvin at this point, but who knows after some college-level development.

Coach O & others here now - if they can't close the deal then, it just wasn't happening. My hope is that Coach wows the family & that clinches the deal - Coach's D-Line experience sure doesn't hurt. He's a good kid & we can sure use him.
