i only know what I read here and there but at the time it all went down I read it was his dad who was PO'd and pulled the quick trigger to AU. perhaps Patrick really still wants LSU.

Ide take him in a heart beat.

This is a similar not exact situation to Eliot Porter. How do you feel about Porter and him eventually joining the team after leaving Kentucky?

Sidell COrley also to bama.

Les miles has always grantd unconditional releases to players that wanted to transfer.

He has never put an limitations on where any player could transfer. Granted, this is a bit unusual, but very true.

He wanted to go to LSU the whole time and unfortunately the situation changed up right before he could get on campus. At least one of the recruiting services said his dad was the reason he went to AU but who knows for sure. Either way LSU was the catalyst for the change not so much Miller.

Not sure how it would work out and how long he would not be eligible. But if you look at the OL he probably would not play for 2 years anyway.

Hell, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I wish him the best either way, but hope he comes if things aren't working out over there. Tough situation.

Do you have to sit out an additional year if it's SEC to SEC transfer? For a total of two ?

Why would Miller want to go to LSU after what Miles pulled?

Better question is why anyone still listens to Gino.

You mean asked him to come in August instead of February?

Yeah, Miles the terrible, terrible man.

Guess someone leaving a school this soon is more of a worry than the initial switch, to me.

What did he pull? They had limited early enroll numbers, and one had to pay their way for Spring semester, and Miller was the choice due to financial ability. Father didn't like it, and took his kid to AU...Just the way I heard it, what did you hear?

Miller was more committed to LSU, than they were him, apparently. Miller was committed for quite a while before Gunner all the sudden chose LSU, and ultimately took Miller's spot.

I'll believe what Memphis said though, and won't believe this. It sounds like your typical TR FR who's homesick. This type of situation is common.

yes, He would have to sit out two years if he transfered to a sec school. If he goes to juco or a div II school first then, he could play right away after this season.

No if they pulled his scholly offer all together you could say that but that's not what happened.

Auburn is a lot closer to his home than BR so if it's true that's not the case.
