Robinson should just come on home and help bring back the magic and pack the PMAC. Its very obvious that we are up and coming and next year class should have us a legit contender in the conference. Lets get it poppin Robinson for the boot.

I think he has almost no chance at all for a waiver for the fall semester, but the spring is a toss-up. I haven't looked at the schedule, but there usually aren't many tough games in the fall semester.

I don't see how he could play this year period. The kid got his board and meals already paid for at WKU this year, albeit for a very short time.

And... recruiting is a dirty business. We have no idea what card he is really holding. Obviously screwed the pooch by showing up at WKU AFTER his godfather left. But pretty certain not many if any know the true facts here.

If he gets a waiver for the the spring semester he would be eligible as soon as fall semester is completed so December he would be able to make his debut

LSU is no longer recruiting Robinson.
Any team he signs with could apply for a waiver for him to play next season but it's unclear if the NCAA would grant such a waiver.
LSU still has one remaining scholarship for the 2017-18 season. The Tigers do have a commitment from Oregon transfer Kavell Bigby-Williams but whether or not Bigby-Williams makes it to campus is up in the air.
LSU could opt to fill the final scholarship spot with Bigby-Williams or another player to keep a full roster heading into the season. Robinson again is not being recruited anymore.

I am not saying that Robinson is coming to LSU or that he is still being recruited by LSU; however, you seem to always chime in and position yourself as having some authority on the subject. Well if you know so much about the Robinson situation and LSU basketball, how come you do not know more about the Bigby-Williams situation?
Your quote suggests you have no clue what is happening with him. Why would LSU not sign him? Did they not recruit him? Did he not commit? And wasn't the investigation against him just closed and no formal charges filed? What would be LSU's reason for not letting him sign now if there are no issues with him and they are not pursuing Robinson as you say?
