When I look at 247 linebacker recruits, I see us in the mix for about 5 kids. But almost all are OOS. 2018 is not a good year for in-state linebackers.
Not sure how Angelle plays out, but I hope hes a hidden gem.

Imo it's a good year for LBS instate. Have 2 studs in Baskerville and Clark with 4-5 solid kids behind them not including a couple of athletes that could end up at LB. LA is usually not very deep or strong at LB so taking 2 in a year is good to me. (I'm not including the DES that will stand up in our defense)

Kid is prob one of the top cover linebackers in the state & he's already got a 23 on the ACT.
Jimmy smith has written a few pieces on him.
I think he was 1st team all District t 5A as a junior and 2nd team all state.
He has big frame and will fill out. His dad was a 2x All State free safety at Carencro.

Kid is not a bad player, I think he's a good fit for Aranda's scheme. Watched him get shredded up by the STM offense this year though, not too good in coverage.

Griffin Hebert shredded Carencro last year and Jalen was playing inside linebacker not Corner lol
