Isn't this with any recruit? If he signs, he is the guy we wanted all along. If he doesn't, it means we had our eyes on someone else. You can say that about any recruit that didn't sign with LSU.

How many QB's have offers from LSU? Would we take them all?
I'm just saying maybe LSU's intentions all along were for a Pro-style and a Dual threat. Once, Rivers jumped on the offer, maybe LSU did move on. But, then again you could be right. That's why I said maybe.

I don't know if it's legit, but the bol mods were implying that he was going to commit to bama. we'll see. I had never heard of the kid until today so I really don't care.

I've stated for a while I'm not enamored with the guy. I just don't see much about his game that sticks out.

One thing is for sure, I am definitely way more interested in this 4 pm commitment than I was yesterday.

So TxTiger82 what is BS, even if it is, who cares if it's damage control. But is it beyond the relm of possibility that LSU knew for a couple of weeks that the kid wasnt coming here, and took Rivers instead. I dont think so. Hell even Ely knew LSU wanted to take 2 QB'S his coach even talked about it. So riddle me this. How is it BS that they would want to take 1 Pro Style and 1 Duel Threat.

How so? All I know about LSU recruiting I get from this sight. But anybody....anybody who didn't feel that the commitment from Rivers was a foreshadowing of the Ely situation just plain has their head up there arse.
