Have heard the same although he is convinced he will be there in January

Don't they generally just take some classes at John Curtis and clear all this up?

Ok, serious response time. IF -- and this is a big IF, because right now it's all smoke -- IF Cameron Sims doesn't qualify and loses his spot at Alabama, I say that means Alabama didn't want Sims all along.

He was a ploy to get Cameron Robinson interested. It worked, Alabama sold Robinson on the whole program, and Robinson has been solidly committed for months. Now Sims is having trouble "getting qualified" when Alabama managed to get Eddie Lacy qualified? horseshite. He probably legitimately is having trouble getting qualified, but Alabama could fix that for him and they're choosing not to do so because they didn't really want him either.

Now, that obviously doesn't imply much for Robinson. Yeah, Sims was an interesting factor in the recruiting process, but Alabama sold Robinson on the whole program, like I said earlier. If this whole account is true and Robinson found out somehow, that would be the only way this impacts Robinson's commitment, IMO. If Alabama legitimately wants Sims but can't get him qualified then this affects nothing.

This is why the recruiting "crown" shouldn't be awarded until August.

Let's see if either of them move to Foley for their final semester in HS...that's a 100%guarantee that Bama would get them qualified.

Kids will be kids. I hope he's learning a lot as he goes through this process in all seriousness...regardless of where he ends up. And after all this, I'd still gladly take him back.

We have to hope that CRob can't be an EE so he has longer to see what is going to happen at Bama and convince him that LSU is the right place

Oh, I'm sure LSU coaches have painted a pretty nice picture for the north louisiana kids.

Hell, they probably told them this is how it would unfold months ago.
