How bizarre is it that we are fighting with Urban rather than little Nicky for our two biggest final targets, Haskins and Rashad? SEC v Big 10 battle seems like a no brainer?

I dont see any way that Rashard Lawrence doesnt pick LSU. In State product, I think he goes with the Tigers. Haskins is OSU bound for sure.

Were getting Rashard. Trust me. I don't have any connections to Haskins but i would be pleasantly shocked if Cam and Les could beat out Urban for a quarterback. A dual threat at that.

Who's RASHAD? And we are not in a battle for RL . Signing day can't get here fast enough.

Lawrence to LSU. Haskins could really go either way. I don't think anyone really knows about Haskins until his visit. I told people he was being recruited hard (for a long time now) and would visit. His visit will be telling.

Doesnt common sense tell you that LSU has done a good job developing D Lineman and that Lawrence should probably stay home? QB...not so much.

Better get Haskins because Russo signed with Temple. Running out of fish to catch

I get a little tired of the LSU doesn't develop quarterbacks meme. Cam isn't responsible for the years prior to his arrival. To say that he hasn't developed quarterbacks is so far from reality. You'd be hard pressed to find many coaches who have a better list of quarterbacks with whom they've worked. Bruce Arians is on the discussion. You'd be hard pressed to come up with many more.

People laughed off the note about Cam and quarterbacks but every QB who has been a full-time starter for Cam since 2008 had gone on to be a Heisman Trophy finalist (Randle El was 6th), a Pro Bowl selection (Frerotte, Brees) or Super Bowl winner (Flacco or Brees). That doesn't even count Rivers (went to Pro Bowl as a first-year starter under Cam) and Mettenberger.

If Harris flops in 2016, blame it on Cam. Cam's history says he won't.

While this is true, name a QB that Urban Meyer's system has produced that has been successful in the NFL. I can think of one: Alex Smith. It's not like Meyer is a qb guru. While some hate on Miles and Cameron, their pro style system (and Haskins is a pro style qb) would seem more beneficial to someone concerned about becoming nfl ready. And again, people may hate on Cameron but his experience in the nfl with successful qbs could be enticing for a high school athlete who's ultimate goal is to play qb in the NFL. Not saying he will pick Lsu but thinking in this manner allows you to see how Lsu could be a viable option.

He didn't sign with Temple he just gave them a verbal commit. Big difference. If Haskins picks OSU before signing day which I fully expect him to choose either them or us before then, then I expect Russo to flip quickly from Temple to us.

It's not like Harris stunk it up like some of the QB's in the SEC did. Yeah I know we finished some 100+ in passing but if you look at Harris's numbers they really weren't terrible. Almost 2200 yards passing with 13 TD's and 6 INT's for about 180 a game. All we need him to do his not lose the game for us and to be more accurate. I know that says a lot. I fully expect him to go for 3000/20/5. If he can hit around that number we will be okay!

Pretty sure that streak will end with AJ... But also pretty sure the original stat was stated differently which would exclude AJ. Perhaps it was all QB's with 2 years starting experience under Cam??!
