How good do you have to be to get offered this young at QUARTERBACK! I certainly understand offering this young at RB/LB based on size/strength/speed, but QB is a whole different thing.

the guy said probably and your reply was hey let me tell you about one person on earth.

ervin johnson grew 8 inches bagging groceries after high school and went on to play center in the nba for a long time. Thats about as relevant as your story.

That's why I wrote not necessarily. You need to learn how to read. He might keep growing, he might not.

he didn't say the kid WILL be 6'7

there is probably

and probably not

you are the tard who can't read. So, are you saying that he probably will not grow 3 more inches because your jr high bestie never grew to be 7 foot?

Dude it's a simple discussion and I give a simple answer. You're the moron who's making a big deal out of nothing. No surprise since you're also one of the biggest idiots on this board.

Not necessarily goes both ways. He was trying to estimate his future height and all I did was give a simple example that not all teenagers keep growing much after middle school. Lots hit their growth spurt and are done growing for the most part.

My whole original post stands, nice try dumbass.

The only thing funny is how ignorant and narrow-minded so many are...many names have a noble and rich heritage that is past your pay grade...lol

Don't know if that should be the way it is for QBs. There is still SO much more that a QB has to develop - both physically and mentally from the time he is 14 years old to when he's a junior/senior in HS.

14. He also has great lineage, nephew of ty detmer, several members of his family have played college football or basketball, doesn't mean he will be great, but can't hurt.

moses was offered before 8th grade, so earlier than this kid

If never develops any more physically minus gaining muscle, he will be great. I agree with mentally, but that is where hard work in the film room, classroom, and practice reps come in. The majority of his family has played football so he should have no problem maturing mentally.

On the thing of offering early, it's here to stay. Technological advances (social media, hudl, ), plus more money into things like recruiting, scouting, etc, has made it inevitable. Training and prep facilities are popping up everywhere, ESPN, NIKE, and UA are setting up camps everywhere giving nobodies (at earlier ages) even more exposure. In 20 years, a late bloomer will be considered somebody you haven't heard of til their sophomore year.

Can't be left in the dust thinking in te old ways.
