If he chooses Bama, I really hope someone reveals what information Memphis got a couple of months ago that made him so confident and what was the critical event that turned the tide in favor of Bama.

A last hour visit would tell me that LSU isn't leading for him right now.

So you think he set a date announce where he's going to school without having a decision made already

Announcements in Dec may or may not hold up in Feb on signing day in the event of coaching changes. We need to keep the door open to players currently giving verbals.

I think he has a ban bet riding on the Hootie announcement. He's not banned right now as far as I know

in a competitive situation you always want the last meeting whether you're leading or not...

If the coach leaves I believe the signees can reevaluate the situation and all signing class players have options.

Okay, while I admit it is very easy to think we trail now and maybe for good... Here are my thoughts.

1,)Didn't les miles visit Brandon Harris and Ed Paris right before, or right after they signed their scholly papers. Brandon even posted an Instagram photo with miles saying it was the earliest he's ever done an in home? May take some digging, but I think it was the day before or close to it

2) assuming the worst possible scenario - that hooties been sleeping in bama pjs for months, wouldn't an eleventh hour visit from an honest and loyal coach carry some weight? Yeah, I know that's just reiterating what y'all all have been saying but les miles + hooties mom + telling and showing hootie how badly lsu needs him can't equal anything but good

Maybe it's my stubbornness or probably it's that this kid has said nothing ... Zilch.. Notta for who leads ... But I think les wouldn't make a visit on a Sunday evening to a top prospect unless he thought he had a chance ... Or was just returning the hospitilality he gave the jones when they visited his home ...

From what I have read the parents respect Miles and would not be intentionally wasting his time if the decision was already firmly made. The visit seems to be a good thing in that light.

Okay. I remember you posting that.

But what about miles visiting Paris and Harris right before or after they signed. Did he not do that? I know he took pictures that Harris or Paris posted on Instagram

This was addressed the first time you posted it. He visited Harris the week after he signed. It was not a contact period so he couldn't visit him before he signed. Sunday is the first day of the contact period so the timing works out to where he can visit Jones in a last ditch effort prior to the announcement.

Okay so that's addressed, but why would any last ditch effort make you think it's a bad thing?

Has nick Saban ever visited their home? Has hooties mother ever even seen Sabans office in more than a passing glance ?
