Just pray Martin isn't a one-and-done! We need players who are willing to play at least three years and contribute to a growing BB power. Look what is happening to Kentucky. Even though they won the NC last year, it was a fluke. Players need to learn to play as a team, get their degree and then move on to whatever the future holds.

We need talent, but we don't need guys who are prodigies unless they are willing to be part of a bigger goal!

We're not exactly following the Kentucky model just because we signed one McDonald's AA. All that stuff you said is nice but you can't expect a kid to pass up millions and if he is good enough to go pro after one year that will be great for LSU. Guys like Exum and Simmons are more likely to come here if we show that we can get giys to the league quickly.

So, we don't want NBA talent unless they are willing to play here three years?

You must not want to enjoy competing for a national title type run either.

Even if he is a one and done, I think it'll be great for our program. Shoot we could even make it into March Madness

CJJ says you mixed 4 year guys with one and dones to have a successful team. I tend to believe him.
