Scott is not getting an offer. I really don't know how many times it needs to be said. There are four or more QBs still in line to get offers if we miss on Haskins.

I personally hope we end up with MacVittie, several national analysts believe he is a huge sleeper prospect because he didn't get to start at his powerhouse HS until his senior year then lit it up against some of the toughest competition in the country.

I think there is a very small chance he even gets an offer, and even if he does, it will probably be so late that he wouldn't accept it.

The fact is, he is not higher than fourth or fifth on the board. I think it's ridiculous that we weren't going after these guys rather than Franks, who looked bad in the all-star game, but I'm glad Cam's hand has been forced and really hope that we get one. They ALL fit our offense better than Franks or Scott.

If we were recruiting two guys this year, offering Scott would be a no-brainer. However, with at least two guys behind Harris already and a ton of defensive talent still left on the board at positions of greater need, there is no way we will have the numbers to take two quarterbacks this year.

Kid has legit numbers. My question is why would Meyer not offer the in state kid?

We should have never backed off Patterson just because Franks didn't have the chest to compete. Idk if we could have kept his brother, but damn it'd feel a lot better to have the best qb in this class.

His numbers are nice but if you watch him film he locks in on one target from the moment he take the snap and if that doesn't work he's out of there. Night and day comparison when comparing against Haskins film. The kid did use a pump fake a few times which is nice for a HS qb.

Greg Ward looked pretty good against FSU. In my opinion Scott is very similar to Ward.

I put stock in the fact that Meyer will win a QB recruiting battle over Les and Cam

Haskins is as near ready as any Qb in this class to play immediately. Look at our depth chart vs. Ohio States. His cousin who he talks to regular is here. Cam and Les are going in home as soon as they can and his official visit will be set up. The visit will sell him and his parents on his future in Baton Rouge. Done deal.

? just curious do you know for fact Scott is not getting offer or is just opinion.

And

Are the 4 QB's in line willing to sign or commit to LSU

And

You personally hope we end up with Macvittie, are you in a position to make the decision.

Me, I have no personal knowledge of any QB wanting to sign with LSU and if the 4 you mention and Haskins don't commit then I am fine with offering Scott. Depth will be a issue and better to have someone rather than on one.
