IMHO Scott is the safety net of the QB situation. IF we can't get anyone else, we offer Scott and he stays home

Great. From Day one watched his film and back then we were offering Haskins, Peters, Franks and another, Haskins to me had the best film.

Leaving Shea out of it.

Stupid question...

Is Lindsey Scott the son of *the* Lindsey Scott, formerly of UGA/Saints? As in "LINDSEY SCOTT! LINDSEY SCOTT! LINDSEY SCOTT!" ?

The kid did use a pump fake a few times which is nice for a HS qb.

My son plays QB in 7th grade and he uses the pump fake... Sign him up :)

I put stock in the fact that Meyer will win a QB recruiting battle over Les and Cam

Les and Cam are 1-0 in this match baw. Brandon Harris was recruited hard by Urban.

How could you possibly get 2 downvotes for predicting that Haskins is coming here. All I can think of is there are some miserable people on this board

if we miss on Haskins do we sign Scott? Of course, we are recruiting other guys but none very close to home. Yay or Nay?

Do you mean...

5A Offensive Player of the year (twice)
5A State Champion
5A State Championship MVP
LA Gatorade POY 2015
1st Team All American at QB
3rd in National POY
QB that doesn't have an offer from LSU...

that guy????

Order is:

Haskins
Russo
Scott

If we miss Haskins, look for us to try to take both Russo and Scott

Scott's newest twitter followers are Minnesota OC and Rutgers staff. How cool would it be to see Scott somewhere like A&M

He doesn't have an offer from A LOT of teams. And all of that other stuff like 5-A all state MVP doesn't matter. Ronald Broussard played DB at Acadiana high. He was 5-A defensive MVP two years in a row, won state two years in a row, set the school interception record, helped completely shut down Lindsey Scott in the Semi's and a lot of other talented QB's the three years he played and he is currently playing at East Texas Baptist. Why? Probably because he's 5'9" and doesn't have the best 40 time. Most teams think the same thing not just LSU. They may be wrong but this kind of stuff happens all of the time.

Not sure if you mean that Broussard or Scott is 5'9. For the record Elite Columbus had scott at 5'11" (barefoot) this summer. LINK /

Still not tall enough for us. Again, I think he's perfect fit at A&M. Would be interesting if we got Russo, and Scott went to Rutgers. Rutgers/OC looks like a new follow. PS you are right. A lot of schools have passed on Scott because of height. Russell wilson was only offered by Duke and NC State.

The best school on his offer sheet is Miss. St. It's not like LSU is the only school that hasn't offered. If he was from anywhere else in the country, you'd ask why're we even looking at him. Fwiw... I hope he goes on to do amazing things.

Looks like he is 3rd all time in career yards. LINK

1. Brock Berlin
2. Ryan Perilloux
3. Lindsey Scott

3nd all time in total yards (single season)

1. Ridge Turner 5544
1. Ryan Perilloux 5006 71 tds
2. Lindsey Scott 5003 yds 61 tds

With those type of numbers, I would love to see this kid at least at an SEC foe. Watching him coming in and play us once a year. THE DRAMA!!!! lmao!!!!

McVitte would be 2b to Russo's 2A. Both are better fits in our current offense than Scott.
