The WR's we are bringing in are all like 6'6" so they will be able to be seen over the OL.

That's not the way it works. There are these things called vectors....

It's certainly a handicap, as it is for Brees and Wilson, but as those guys prove, it can be overcome.

3. a picture was shown of him in a thread of him standing next to the OC of Maryland yesterday where Scott was obviously taller of the two. (the height of the alledged OC is unknown) Based on all evidence I would say he is 6'0" tall.

This board never disappoints! "alleged OC". Height unknown. Therefore...

Height didn't hurt Antwaan Randle El (5'10" 185lbs) in college, he was the first QB to have 40 passing and 40 rushing TD's. Oh and Cam was the head coach of Indiana when Randle El was there. Also, Scott appears to be a smarter and bigger version...Randle El was only a partial academic qualifier due to low SAT scores.

Hope we land Mr. Scott and the hell with prototypical stereotypes!!!

I like the fact that he is the tallest QB commit we have.

All joking aside, the kid was hoping for an LSU offer and most certainly will take it. And I think the best part is, he will get a true shot to play given our QB circumstances.

I think he's more Russell Wilson than Drew Bress mold, and more importantly, I hear the kid gets it upstairs. With the schools that have offered him, including the military academies, I highly doubt any of the QBs on our roster presently would have been offered.

Lindsey is a winner, a very smart guy that Harvard offered. If he comes to LSU and is giving a chance in a couple of yrs, he will a leader. He plays a lot bigger than he is. Lindsay, Please come join us in Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights.

If he wants a great education and clout in the working world. He goes to Harvard, easily. But if he wants that once in a lifetime chance to play bigtime college football. He chooses LSU. Who do you think he chooses??

Russell Wilson at the same height has no problem throwing over an NFL o-line:

Lindsay Scott = Russell Sheperd all over again... unfortunately... Biggest waste of talent in the history of college football... Les Miles should be fired for that too..

Players at LSU said RS could not hit the broad side of a barn with a pass... FWIW. that wont be a problem here if he commits.

that would go against what I saw with my own eyes, now if you would have told me he didnt have alot of velocity on his ball i would have believed you... He threw like Danny Weurfell... Last time i checked he won a Heisman...dont have to have that in college when you have great timing with your WRs and timing routes being called by the great Spurrier

I don't know if Scott is 5' 11" or 6' 0". Drew Brees is 6'0". Just sayin.

Doug Flutie, Michael Vick... He'll be fine if he has the QB smarts and athleticism.
