If we really want to develop players from HS to build the program.

If not we will have to hit the portal. Seems like Kelly is good with that. We will be fine.

Lsu will be fine
The NIL/portal age isn’t as fun as 20 years ago but it’s an issue for every team. LSU will be in the playoffs most years after the playoff expansion. ADSW and CBK have it under control

I think Hurley is a mature guy and would understand waiting, but everybody eventually wants to play. I don't even care anymore. I am so disappointed that Howard is leaving.

Hurley is unlikely to ever start at LSU. He is a backup plan who will end up in the portal unless LSU doesn't sign an elite QB

How is Hurley a back up plan when he reclassified and we grabbed him over a year before he signs?

I think you are confusing Hurley with Collins

We’ll be fine, just think right before Kirby started his run, he had 2 5* QBs, Fields & Eason —- neither started for Georgia and They ended up winning back to back Nattys with a 23 yr old Walk-on S Benett, you can’t know and you can’t make shite up like that!

Exactly! We’re fine, all these crybabies need to actually think.

Florida doesn’t seem to be able to keep a Quarterback so I would say DJ Langway is definitely still up for grabs

Why do we have to get a Freshman QB?

The timing for Hurley is ideal. Two years behind Nuss should set up well for both Nuss and Hurley.

Go back to the rant you fricking idiot. Hurley is the most elite QB prospect we’ll sign out of high school since Perrilloux

This.

I think Howard is just a product of graduating a year too soon for our QB room. Don’t blame the kid for wanting to play at all, and evidently he’s seen the writing on the wall that as of right now, it’s JD to Nuss.

Hurley seems to have an incredibly mature and cerebral mindset, in which he’d actually appreciate that more than most and bask it all in. Dude is all LSU. Him and Simmons from D’Ville exemplify what the program wants going forward.

No future QB currently in HS is crucial in the new transfer portal age.

The way this kid talks you would think he was born in Tiger Stadium on the 50 yards line. I know things can change but he seems like he Loves LSU
