that's irrelevant! he quit football after he attended a 2014 LSU summer camp and was not offered. He should have gotten an offer in the summer of 2014 (based solely on incredible potential only)and his recruitment would have been long over with.

I would put Gregory Little ahead of Smith and Gary. The top 4 I think we land and 1 or 2 of the others is a reasonable expectation.

You way off bruh. Smith should be top 5 most likely to sign. It's us or Clemson, and he already decommitted from Clemson so it's obvious there's something there he isn't down with. People are seriously underestimating us with Gary. It's an incredibly tight race but the momentum for Michigan is understandable since that was the last place he visited. But the fact that we're getting a third UV and what will likely be his last OV in January speaks volumes to me. Personally I'm of the opinion that his mom favors Michigan and Auburn, but he favors us over everybody else. Now that doesn't mean his mom doesn't like us, just that she likes those schools more. We're third for Little but we made it a three team race. We have more of a shot now than ever before. Hopefully he pushes his decision back and we can get him on campus again.

Yeah, getting an unofficial with him and his mom would be big. An OV is great, but Gary needs to see a game.

Mom needs to be told about all of the great off the field stories, such as the recent Dupree and Harris one. This is the kind of thing that should really impress parents trying to decide between top programs.

Other than Gary and maybe Davis (ole miss) who do we not get from that list?

I'd agree that those 2 are the least likely.

Louisiana's food is far superior to Michigan's food...LSU wins on Gary.

Anthony and Chattman could be LBers down the road as well.

Drake Davis is a beast. Tcu side per 247 is not near a confident on Sullivan. He's come to a lot of our games. Rashaun smith is a tough one. He still loves Clemson and loves dabo supposedly. Maryland not happening. Manuel has made like 3 visits hadn't he? I know of 2 for sure. That saying Something.

Little is a beast but were deeper than anyone in sec. Allen has played his way back into the premium olineman after mediocre camps. He's a big boy and they project at guard. Sophmore year is his best shot he needs a year of developing

You guys think Allen is all LSU? I know a little while back he had a lot of interest in Georgia but haven't heard much about it lately. TIA

yeah if we sign R. Smith this class will end up having 5-6 LBs. Andre Anthony and Thornton are both 3-4 OLB edge rushers. Anthony could play with his hand down too. Fowler, Divinty, and (if we sign him) Smith are more traditional LBs, though they are still versatile. Then there is also Chatman and possibly Devin White.

Seems more likely now than a few months ago...

Jimmy Smith the recruiting guru for NOLA.com thinks he signs with LSU (thus this thread).

Could be? I've been thinking LB since they committed. Doesn't Anthony play DE/OLB?

I just don't see Chattman as a safety, not one that will contribute anyway (maybe on special teams). He is going to need to redshirt and pack on about 50lbs. He's a project no doubt.

Anthony is a DE all the way and Chattman they had HOPED to gain weight and be more of a LB prospect but he's still rail thin so he's considered a safety.
