Ahhhh the good times. This board used to be a much bigger shite show (in a good way) than it is now.

From the get-go, I felt very strongly that I hoped LSU co9uld reel in two of the "Big 4" D-Tackles:
- Oliver
- Alexander
- Lawrence
- KJones

And to be honest, I didn't really give a damn on which two we got (as I have never been hung up on in-state vs OOS kids). I don't know if the Oliver ship has truly sailed or not. But if so, LSU very much needs Lawrence to pair with Alexander as linchpins of this D-Line class.

Manuel would be an awesome take, but I still think him coming here is doubtful. As to Lawrence, hate to lose any state recruit to Bama, but if it happens, we need to counter the loss with a 'big' out of state catch- Manuel would certainly do the trick!

Funny though that the same FSU guy who CBs Joyner to LSU also CBed Mullen to FSU at the same time. Its going to be very interesting to see how this class finishes, especially with so many big fish on the board showing such great interest. And thanks to Jimmy for all the details.

I'm losing confidence in Mullen the longer this thing drags out. He's a luxury more than a necessity at this point though. The Fulton boom seems imminent.

I just want to know what makes everyone so confident in D. White? He's honestly the one I'm most worried about. There are a couple of well connected Bama posters who he's their's to lose. I hope we land him

LSU insiders are claiming him as a silent commit at the moment

I've been told LSU is in great shape with both Mullen and Fulton.

Joyner I think people are throwing things against the wall to see what sticks. His recruitment has been very quiet and maybe some people are taking that as a negative for their particular school, when in reality he isn't speaking to anyone very much. Pure speculation from me.

More pure speculation, I think Devin White has "committed" to multiple staffs. I've never seen four schools all so certain they have a guy in the bag.

Will he need more time after signing day to make a decision?

I've heard everything you have likely read. He loved his stay, loves Coach O, his uncle was beyond pleased and the pitch to play early and be developed for the NFL was very well received. That said, the politics and recruiting layout in Florida makes it exceptionally hard to land a kid like this for an out of state school. For now, I'm leaning towards LSU being able to hold onto what I believe to be a lead for Manuel because I've witnessed what Raymond and Orgeron can do first hand.

I bet if we can get him in for a big home game Tiger Stadium and Coach O will seal the deal.

Something would have to change for Lawrence to turn down LSU. That's his top choice right now.

I want to believe!!! Considering your user name, stay on him for the home team!

After the 5 for 5 thing I vowed not to get that emotionally involved with "potential" players and classes. I was burnt a little bit on that whole deal. Felt like kids lying to staffs and mods. Just a whole bunch of misdirection and inaccurate information being feed.

But this class is breaking me down. I can't help it the walls are coming down and once again i am at the edge of my seat hanging on. I mean everyday we inch closer to the most amazing class I have ever seen assembled. If we finish out anything like we have the potential to I will be on cloud 9.

This staff has shown extreme recruiting prowess and a no hold barred attitude about building these relationships. They are tenacious and are creating energy and a buzz. A vibe like I have never seen in recruiting world.

Thinking back on that Steele/Orgeron hire the one thing that everyone talked about was recruiting ability. Well I am seeing the tree bare fruit very early. If you include that with the way Grimes ended last year. The upside is unmeasurable. Players like Ben Davis and Lyndell Wilson although Low probabilities they are within our grasp. Players like Manuel visit and turn the axis in our favor. I have already posted my final 8-10 but I tell you what. I pray that we play as good as we recruit.
