4 star. #1 RB recruit in MS. Received an offer from Michigan this week. Ran a 4.5 40 @ the opening in New Orleans. Looks to be a player. Think he is close to if not over 200# now

Imagine if he's that powerful at 180 what that boy could do at 210 or 215?? Great quickness, cutting ability, balance, vision, power, and he can catch a little even spin it. He's a very athletic back, N!!

My wife went there!

Didn't know they had D1 football talent. All my ole miss friends that played there were average rich white boys.

If we could pull this kid and Noah Cain in 2019, that would be a pretty damn good running back duo

I'd say almost every grad from Jackson Academy and many from Jackson Prep end up at Ole Miss. There will be lots of "pressure" for him to go to the Rebs.

I don't think LSU needs to go down that Mississippi rabbit hole again...

I get your point but that pressure didn't keep Cam (I know Clinton, not prep or JA) in state. All 3 schools are roughly equidistant from Jackson and I think it would be worth it to pursue him. Getting Charles out of MRA was a step in the right direction.

Can't compare Akers with Ealy. If he goes to Ole Miss and doesn't make the NFL, he'll never have to worry about a job with all those J-Prep business owning parents. If he doesn't, kiss that goodbye.

Cain and Emery are the 19 targets and we've got a great shot at both if not outright lead for both. Long way to go though.

This guy does look impressive so maybe we hear more about him concerning us

This is true.

Most of the influence and money in the city sends their kids to JPrep or JA, and then Ole Miss. If you're a high school stud there and go to Ole Miss, you'll have a lot of fall back options in Jackson if football doesn't work out.

Jackson is miserable. Semi-big city, with a tiny town social gossip circle. Everybody has their noses into everyone else's business and they think Jackson is the center of the universe.

LSU shouldn't waste time on him for two reasons:
(1) he is going to OM if he plays college football, and
(2) he will likely never play college football because he is a very highly regarded MLB prospect.

Just because it's tough to pull them doesn't mean you should give up and not offer them.

That would be beast mode! Best RB tandem in 2019, would be impressive to see New Recruiting Coordinator Tommie Rob pull in those two

Stevan Ridley was an ole mess commit once upon a time...

That school is a dumpster fire. This kid likely will stay away from it.

Dude - he is a Mississippi player going to a HS that sends many students to OM. Natchez has more LSU flags flying than you can shake a stick at.

Not saying don't pursue, but I promise you won't feel comfortable that he will be a Tiger until the fax comes in. That's how it is with Mississippi kids.

RB should be a national search.

Ole Miss isn't much of a player for Ealy.State leads for him mainly because he has fallen in love with their baseball coach and he does like Mullen.

He is a serious baseball draft prospect that should be noted.

That is a really good description. I lived there for five years and hated every minute of it.
