Not true
Starkville is by far the closest from Jackson around 110 miles, Oxofrd is 150, and Baton Rouge is close to 180 miles from Jackson

You're right. Starkville is the closest at 2hrs 2min. Oxford is 2hrs 30min. BR is 2 hrs 34min. These times are per google. Not a huge difference imo

But when traveling to Starkville you naturally slow down because no one really wants to go there.
