BK can start getting players from the portal whenever he wants. In fact he picked up a QB from the portal today. He doesn't have to sign X number of recruits before hitting the portal. He can fill the rest of his numbers available with transfers if he wanted.

I get that, and he could go above 7 transfers by eating into the 25 if he wants. I'm just not sure he will, because after he's hit on a half-dozen or so plug and play guys he's really looking for depth and it makes sense to go for freshmen who are developmental guys for that. There may be a transfer here or there you take to develop, but mostly I'm saying they're freshmen.
