stole this gem off dawgrant on pg. 82, this is a response after the spring game.

Mettenburger is our only hope, and the fact he looks like he just stepped off the Disney Channel with his Zach Efron haircut, I don't know how well he'll hold up when a big Columbia buck puts one in his chest.
Logan looked horrible, and Murray looked like 60 pounds of sh-t in a 20 pound bag.

again I've already said Murray didn't have a good spring game and Mett did. But that idiot didn't go to practice like the sources I have.

Murray certainly looks very impressive playing in the SEC. If Mettenberger comes he will not have faced what Murray has so it will be hard to tell what he is made of. Watching Georgia this year I have been very impressed with Murray. He can make all the throws.

Yeah he's been about the only thing that's gone right this year for UGA.

Bottom line-despite the talent-does the guy have leadership qualities or does he get a lemon-sucking face and complain when things don't go his way?

I wouldn't know. What I do know is while he was at UGA alot of people didn't like him because he was cocky and conceited.

He's so good he can slam a revolving door.

He's so good, when he crosses the street, cars have to look both ways.

Can you explain Murray's gay arse haircut? He looks like he belongs on the jersey shore.

Adam Wilson needs to be President of Murray's fan club. I suppose we'll just have to wait & see, but all reports indicate Mettenberger clearly outplayed him in the spring game. He's a good big strong armed QB at 6-5, 240. Maybe with an apparently improved Jarrett Lee to compete with, we could see a tremendous battle between Lee & Mett for the starting QB next spring & fall.

I just hope he can do OK under center. Everyone keeps saying if we could have consistent QB play we could easily make a run at the NC game.

It should be noted that at that Spring Game, Mettenberger was going up against the second string D and Murray was playing against the first team D. And yes, Murray, had a bad spring game. Yes. Mettenberger had a good spring game. Yes, Richt really didn't want to kick Mettenberger off for two reasons. Considering Gray was likely moving to WR, he was needed for depth, and 2) his mother is Richt's executive asst. Mettenberger has the physical tools to be a very good QB, and yes he was getting much better at the mental stuff. However, every one of the UGA inside guys laughed at the common fans who thought that Mettenberger should be above Murray on the depth chart, and frankly, based on how Murray has played this first half, I can see why. That doesn't mean that Mettenberger won't develop into a better QB. I have no idea. All I know is anyone who is saying that Mettenberger was above or even really close to Murray on the UGA depth chart is plain clueless. And yes, I wouldn't doubt that my source actually saw the spring depth chart.

Mett was going to start in front of Murray. It's that simple. Period
