05 and 12 were the lowest of the miles era. 05 cant fault him with saban leaving and a month left. I think we only had 8 commits at the time of saban leaving, or only 8 left after he bolted. Just mind you this was also with some very down years in the state from almost 05-10 because of the hurricanes. Miles has done an exceptional job and yeah we have missed on a few but every school has something to offer, every school has nice facilities and play on tv every week.

I have never been disappointed in a particular class. Miles gets a pass for '05 and actaully gets a ton of credit for flipping Ryan Perriloux.

I'm disappointed we had so many players we need leave the state this year, but I'm not disappointed in the class of players who came to LSU. We got really great players in this class.

2012 definitely doesn't match the elite standards of some of the other recent classes.

The Rant is full of people who are too unimportant to have millions of people listening when they make a mistake.

Jim misprounces/misidentifies stuff all the way to the bank, in his expensive imported car, between his luxurious LSU office and nicely appointed, large Baton Rouge home.

2012 was outside of the Top 10, which by current SEC standards places you well back in the pack now. For instance, Ole Miss finished today as the #15 team in the composite rankings and is the #8 team in the SEC...in the bottom 50%.

To that end, I think the team this year felt the pain of a poor recruiting result in 2012.

I'll always remember that class for the Adrian Mayes flip (from Nebraska) and that was the time Lavalais' commitment finally counted.

Which begs the question, did Jerrell Powe break the record for most times counted and bumping up a recruting class held by Lavalais? I think Powe was counted in 57 different Ole Miss classes and one LSU class.
