Harold, 4-Star RB, just got four CB's to LSU, one of those is from Steve Wiltfong. He is now is 100% CB'd to LSU.

That is great news. I like Chris Curry, he has good acceleration, decent top end speed, good vision, decent agility.......I'm just not seeing the hogs on the recruiting board these guys need to run behind. Hine's looks good, I havn't seen film on Cole Smith, but Cameron Wire, at least from what I've seen, is a project. By project I mean he's going to take a couple years before he is starting material. Yes, he is big, but in some of the plays I've seen he got push a little by guys smaller than him. And, he doesn't seem to have very good agility for the SEC. I could be wrong, just my observation so far. Regardless, LSu should be signing no less than 4 OLmen a year. Just don't see that they are in the picture for more than they have so far. A rb has got to have good blockers in front of him, only Barry Sanders didn't need a good OL. I don't think he even needed linemen at all, just give him the ball and get out the way. Are there any more quality OL men in this class LZSu is in the mix to sign?

Honestly, I thought he was a soft commit for a while.

But, if he's coming, that's just what the doctor ordered.

He sort of reminds me of Harvey Williams kind of lanky and relaxed when he’s running.

I just watched his JR highlights. I would have liked to have seen some more 'grind it out' plays. Most of those were just through the hole untouched type plays that don't tell you much about his drive or power.

He runs a bit upright through the hole. I'd like to see him use a tad more leverage as he bursts through traffic. That's absolutely a must to be productive on the next level.

I actually like his size. I don't think he's "too tall" as some have stated previously. I'd like seeing him put on a good twenty to thirty pounds over a couple of seasons. It'd be awesome seeing a Brandon Jacobs type back in P&G!

That would get us to where we need at RB. Time to fill the other holes

A 6'4" 250 pound back would be mighty hard to stop in the 4th quarter. He runs a little "light" to me at the moment but coaching and stiffer competition in college will most likely get him to play meaner and our rb coach will teach him about his pad level.

Hines has moved to DT. We are gonna bag at least one juco offensive lineman and maybe 2. Our young guys are playing well right now and we are getting almost all of our offensive line back for next year. We should be solid there. Still need get some more the coming years tho and build depth.

Mountain Brook running back Harold Joiner - one of the state's best uncommitted prospects - visited LSU last week and clearly left impressed. Joiner watched LSU rally from a huge first-half deficit and knock off Auburn in one of college football's biggest comebacks of 2017.

On Wednesday, Joiner received his U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey in a 12-minute ceremony after the Spartans' practice, and talk turned to recruiting for the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder, who has narrowed his choices to Alabama, Auburn and LSU.

"No leader right now," Joiner said, before pausing for a few seconds. "I'm not going to lie to you, LSU is the leader right now."

He won’t be offered to play running back at Bama so LSU has a huge edge there

Nobody in the conference needs a feature back in 2018 more than we do.

Does anyone know if he is an early enrollee or is he slated to officially sign with a school on NSD?
