Who was that safety that was super talented and committed a few years back, but he kept getting in fights, and I think he got kicked out of school for fighting?

Edit: I feel there was a prominent "T" in his name.this might drive me crazy. I'm going for a run, and I hoped it comes to me then.

Edit: TK Fleming. I know no one cares but me, but what happened to that guy?

Uhh by not entering the NFL draft maybe?

He may have postponed making millions of dollars, but rest assured he def isn't going to miss out on it. Whether it be a Lloyds of London insurance policy or the fact that he has a zero percent chance of slipping past the second round, he will be a millionaire by this time next year.

Where does luxury equal not great player? Where does inconsistent hands equal not great player? Coates also had inconsistent hands, but he was on fire the last two years.

Williams would have done nothing to help our situation last year, plus he was injured a couple games and suspended for the bowl game.

Speedy is a great player and will be an ALL SEC player the next two years, but again, he was a luxury. Before he announced we had already had Quinn, Chark, and Upchurch, and then after he announced, we got Dupre on NSD. Donte Jackson looks to be an excellent option as a return man, Dillon is similar athletically to Noil and Tyron Johnson has Odell Beckham ability. With Dural and Diarse already top 5 at the position, is Speedy really a miss? We're freaking loaded!

There is a difference between saying we didn't "need" those guys and trying to marginalize their talent and ability.

Williams is a stud. He's better than what we have right now. Speedy is going to be viewed as a stud real soon, IMO. Dillon doesn't have his ability IMO, but admittedly I haven't seen Dillon on the collegiate level.

And, Diarse isn't even close to top 5 at the position. Maybe you are talking about Dupre?

Like I said, we'll thrive without those guys, but there is no need to pretend they aren't as good as they really are.

He could be the best WR ever, but that doesn't help you if he can't stay out of trouble. Ryan perriloux was just as talented, but he couldn't stay out of trouble and we were f*cked once he got kicked off the team because we only had a couple of freshman QBs behind him. Sometimes it's not worth the risk, especially if you know he has issues from the start.

We should've never kicked Perriloux off the team. We should've never kicked Mathieu off the team. Unless they fricking murder, rob, or rape somebody you do everything you can to keep them on the team. Win at all costs. Watch, Malzhan won't make the mistake Miles has made of kicking off a huge impact player before a season with high expectations.

If Miles doesn't kick those guys off the team, who knows what would've happened in college football the last 7 years. We would have more than one SEC title I can tell you that

Winning is great and all, but the path there is equally important. I'd rather win with class any day of the week. My heart sank when I heard TM7 was gone. I still remember where I was when Cowherd ended his show saying he had "potential breaking college football news" only to have SVP start his show with the actual news of TM7 getting bounced. He was the most electrifying college football player I've ever seen, but I never blamed Miles for it. Honestly, neither would Tyrann. Miles did him a favor by giving him the chance to get his crap together before he imploded in the NFL.

And since this is the recruiting board... you better believe that Miles' integrity is a huge part of getting these highly touted kids to come here.

Giving Mathieu an ultimatum to either go to rehab the summer before his junior year and get himself clean or get dismissed from the team would've been a much better option. No fricking chance Mathieu lets Yeldon score on that screen in 2012. Say what you will about 1/9.. But we had Bama beat in our own house the very next year and we gave it away, and haven't recovered since. No way does the badger let that happen

Chief dick(forget his name right now) lol was the frick up for that loss. We all know that! His idiocy tendency to go to some sort of prevent type defense late in games when there was no damn need to do so is the reason LSU sucked in close games. If the idiot continued playin the dominating sound D they had been playin the whole game. Yeldon would have been tackled in the backfield as soon as he caught the ball.

but what has Williams done to get or about to get dismissed from team?? Auburn would be stupid! This kid carried Auburn with Sammy Coates there. Coates is about to star in the NFL, but was nowhere near Williams in ability.

Agreed on all points man

But Duke has gotten in multiple fights at auburn, had scuffles and verbal altercations with coaches on multiple occasions, just generally been a bad teammate.

Yep. Everything else was wishful thinking. Anyone who was being logical saw this is the much more likely outcome.

Duke Williams is not good for any team. Glad Auburn got him.

Well the season is just about to start and if I were a betting man, I would bet the house on this guy doing something stupid again. The guys a ticking time bomb.

Maybe. This is basically a "contract year" for him and now that the goal is in sight he might keep it together. Except for the LSU game, I hope he does.

Wouldn't be surprised if part of the deal for him coming back includes professional counseling. Considering, it seems, most of the issue is fighting with teammates if they are ok with him coming back I see no reason why AU should stop it. Providing they are trying to help him.

You aren't paying attention.

He's not getting kicked off the team short of something very, very serious.

AndyJ, I'm a friend of TK. He just wasn't a huge fan of playing football. Which is a shame because he's the most impressive athlete I've ever seen in my life. It was a HUGE letdown for me when I finally accepted the fact that he wasn't going to play for LSU. He was just young and got into trouble one too many times. He's a good guy and a good friend. But football is pretty much done for him now. Even though I seriously think he could try out for an NFL team and make the practice squad after rolling out the bed tomorrow. It's a shame, but what you gonna do...

I still don't get how people aren't blown away by Dillon's film. The dude is an A+ in agility, speed, quickness, acceleration, explosiveness, whatever you want to call it, he has it. I just need to see him catch the ball because of his lack of tape at wide out. But with the ball, he i just as bit the athlete as the Narcisse kid that just committed to Auburn. If Dillon has even B- hands, he's going to be an absolute beast.

Maybe if Dillon was rated a 5 star by (insert your recruiting "expert" site here), then more people would realize how dangerous that dude is. Using Dillon or Jackson on the speed/ jet sweep would be more effective then either Dural or Johnson in my opinion.

One of these men should be in motion for that sweep action on every single play.

1. Jackson
2. Dillon
3. Johnson
4. Dural
5. Diarse

If so,
Fournette is running for 2000 minimum. And that 2000 is simply because we'll play four running backs.
