I seriously doubt that. Sounds like wishful thinking.

I don't wish one thing or the other, I hate it when kid's with his kind of talent don't keep their shite together. I have several clients who are big Auburn boosters, word is he is a shitty teammate and doesn't take coaching very well. And if the reported fight with a basketball player is true, that probably does it for him. Check twitter, his teammates have moved on.

Cam rob and speedy are the only 5 star misses

I don't consider speedy a miss. It was a luxury in the first place, and it would be a luxury now. Derrick Dillon is a similar player to Speedy.

Duke has inconsistent hands. I don't think that would have help us much last year, plus the QBs were bad.

Cam Rob is the only real miss.

Kid is a stud football player and is going to play this year, IMO.

Cam Rob is definitely a miss. I saw a draft board that had Quille as the 7th pick, but he may bring other issues with that ability. Word is still out on Speedy and Tony in my mind, but Speedy showed flashes.

Auburn is the least likely of all SEC schools to let a player of that caliber go.

It won't be academics or in-house behavior for sure.

Much less attitude. LOL

Speedy is going to be elite before it's over. Ca is definitely elite. Daquille is also elite.

LSU will survive and thrive without these guys...but it doesn't make sense to pretend those guys aren't great players.

Agree.

LSU has good WRs. But, Williams would be the best WR on this team.

Yeah but at the same time it's not we're going to miss him much considering the talented guys we have on the O-Line. Hawkins truly has the same elite potential. Biggest difference is how raw Hawkins was coming out of high school, while Robinson was much more developed. Hawkins had trouble getting in his stance when he first got to LSU. Now he's one of the best linemen in the SEC. I wish we would have gotten Robinson, but I barely even think about him anymore after last years class.

Malzahn doesn't seem like the type to let a cancer stay on the team. Plus if the fight with the bbal player is true, Pearl might have had a hand in it as well

I'm not familiar with the details, but unless something crazy happened, i don't see a fight with a bball player being a big deal.

And, the thought that Pearl would have any say so in this is laughable.

It's 2 different coaches. At this point there is so much smoke, it would be very surprising if he was back

Fumbled a punt to put his team in a bad position and then, made an incredible catch to give his team a chance.

There was also a highly touted receiver from Bastrop (DeAngelo Benton) that went to Auburn when we signed Reuben Randall. Benton was a high four star or five star receiver but I do not remember him doing much. I think he might have gone the JUCO route prior to signing with Auburn.

Still haven't heard what he did... or that he was dismissed at that. In fact, I saw where several said the expect him back on the team just didn't know when (random comments, some tweets, didn't pay much attention).

Still wish he had come here. Exceptional talent. School losing accreditation screwed him.

I don't think it's he doesn't like to block, I don't think he has been taught how to properly. He's a big mofo, DB's don't want him getting into them so they keep him at arms length, literally. He doesn't know enough technique to handle that and the angles. Makes him look tentative.

Don't forget Trovon Reed and Greg Rob and the dirty Thibodaux connection.

Regardless, I'll trade all the LA players that left for Auburn and Bummer for the ones that stayed. Every day. All day long.
