Miami has given him something to think about with LSU going after so many highly rated lineman. I think the only way he leaves is if Shavar or Gary commits to LSU before he decides.

Would love to have the kid, but Ed Orgeron is not going to stop recruiting the best linemen in the country.

Like what it's like to play in an empty stadium? Al Golden might be fired mid-season. I'm not worried about Miami.

I agree, he might be done if the Canes don't produce this year.

That said, he's running a clean program which is what their administration has wanted for a while. That might save him.

some kids do that. I don't get it, but it's his life and his decision.

Maybe some kids don't realize that in order to win championships, it takes depth...you can't be the only high level player at your position and expect to win titles.

I don't care who we get on defense, we need to keep all our defensive recruits

Miami can't succeed running a clean program. Not recruiting in florida and particularly south Florida against fsu and just about everyone else in the country. Plus they're just like LSU in the sense that when they're out there playing mean, dirty, and with swagger they're at their best

With that said I'm not worried about glen Logan going to the U

I don't think some kids really get this. It's the hs and recruiting coaches job to educate on this. After that, it's completely up to the kid and their family to make the decision.

What they don't realize or understand is if you can't get p.t. at lsu due to depth, how are you going to make an n.f.l. roster? LSU does not have 4 or 5 n.f.l. defensive tackles. However, every team in the n.f.l. has 4 or five n.f.l. defensive tackles.

so, if your goal is the n.f.l., how are you going to get there running from competition? at some point, you will have to beat out another n.f.l. defensive tackle.

If your goal is the n.f.l., you better not be scared to compete and beat the best football players.

Not saying he not a competitor, but I think it's the big names that we might pick up that's scaring him

I think that's where fans miss the boat in thinking that winning titles is more important to a recruit than PT is. If they love football they want to be in the action not watching from the bench. If he has the talent he will make it to the NFL whether he plays at Miami, LSU, or even ULL for that matter. If you have the talent the scouts will find you. It's not like the old days.
