Here is the youtube video of QB Preston Dewey from Austin, Texas:

I guess most folks don't know that Ty Detmer is coaching H.S. football in Texas. This kid looks pretty good, would be a great fit in our offense after Mett is finished.
He was at the LSU Junior Day at the spring game; and visited Alabama for the Alabama - Auburn game.

LaSpada yet another award in Mass.
AFDC Redzone Player of the Year - LaSpada
"Enough can't be said about LaSpada and his ability to make plays. Despite his team's struggles, he was able to post Madden-type numbers. The junior threw for over 2400 yards and 25 touchdowns. On the ground, he torched opponents for 14 scores while also catching one.
LaSpada is arguably the most electrifying player in the state. He forces defenses to pay attention to him on every snap, and many times multiple players tasked with the responsibility of shadowing him the entire game.
The local media aren't the only ones talking about Nick; he is on the ESPN 150 watch-list, and has been discussed in fan chat rooms from Gainsville, FL to Eugene, OR."

Add Ryan Watson - Good Counsel High, Maryland
He likes LSU, and is being considered. Will probably be recruited as a Guard/Center, but is an outstanding d-lineman as well - All State
Made one of the best D-Linemen at the 2011 US Army Combine with Nick, and was an All American offensive lineman. Athletic and can drive off the ball. Plays against 300 lb linemen weekend and week out in his high school league, one of the best on the east coast.

I hope these kids get taller. Saban doesn't recruit DB's shorter than 6'0" for a reason.
They are 16. Maybe 17.
Sure, they will get a bit taller. I grew two inches from 16 to 18.
On the other hand, my junior high (Burlington New Jersey)
had a hoops front line of 6 9", 6 9 and 6 8" in the 9th grade.

What about Curtis Riser?
I think he could be one of the next commitments in Feb. March.
