LSU is recruiting Jeff Lindquist, QB from Mercer Island, WA.

He was the only Sophomore invited to the "Steve Clarkson Super 7" camp this past year. The only other Sophomore that has ever been invited to that was Matt Barkley.

He plays on a VERY weak team. They had their first winning season this year in a long time I believe. I've heard that the starting center was 175 lbs. He is basically a one man show there. The league is decent and has one team that is typically one of the best in the country, but outside of them it's not the greatest.

He still looks pretty sharp though. I would love if he came to LSU.

If he stays on the west coast, it sounds like either UW or Stanford. It's still early though and I'm not sure if he wants to get away or not. I've heard that LSU has a decent shot at Zach Banner though. LSU has offered him for both basketball and football.

Does Zach really want to play both in college? He has offers from basically every big school so he could go anywhere.
Do you know if he has a leader?

He still says he doesn't know what sport he wants to play at the next level. He would be crazy not to play football though.

He has no leader. He says he's going to "narrow down" his list to 20 soon. I'm listening to a radio show where he is going to be interviewed soon, so if I hear anything noteworthy, I will pass it on.

Just got done listening to his interview. He said that he has over 40 offers for football, and 5-10 for basketball. He said that he definitely wants to play both in college and that will be a factor in his decision. He did mention that LSU was one of the ones that had offered him for both. He said that all of the schools are completely even right now, so basically nothing new. I'll drop by though whenever I hear any updates on him.
