Updated for Marvin Bracy, WR, one of the fastest people on the planet

quote:

Marvin Bracy (born December 15, 1993) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres. He was the world's second fastest under 17-year old ("Youth" by IAAF standards) in 2010, behind David Bolarinwa.

At the Florida High School Class 4A track and field meet in May 2010, Bracy swept the 100 meter and 200 meter dash. He won the 100 meter in 10.19 seconds, the fastest time in state meet history. If it had not been for the wind assistance (+2.8 m/s), this also would have been a new World Youth Best (currently held by Rynell Parson).

Easily the youngest in a race dominated by college runners, Bracy finished sixth in the 100-meter dash at the USA Track & Field Junior National Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. In July, at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics in Moncton, Canada, Bracy ran a relay leg for the U.S. squad in the 4×100 metres relay heat.

He was an All-USA high school track and field team selection by USA Today in July 2010.

Bracy attends William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Florida, where he also plays American football at the wide receiver position. The Orlando Sentinel ranks him as the No. 6 prospect from Central Florida in the class of 2012. By October 2010, he had received at least six scholarship offers, including from Florida State University and the University of Miami.

And did anyone say Trindon Holliday?

Has LSU ever pulled a top rated kid from Missouri? I think he may be the #1 prospect in the nation for 2012 correct?

DGB has pretty much said its going to come down to Mizzou, Arkansas and Oklahoma. He is gonna stay close to home, and many consider Arkansas the slight leader right now.

Wouldn't be a surprised to me that Arkansas can get his signature.

I'm just doubtful that LSU can pull a top rated kid from Missouri, but Les is a hell of a recruiter and he has surprised us LSU faithfuls before on signing day.
