Did you see Devine in the bowl game?
yeah but he is more than just fast. he is quick and has shifty feet. I don't think he is as fast though.

i've never known a track star to run slowly on a football field.
One name that someone will probably list is Xavier Carter. He just had straight line speed but nothing fancy about how he ran.

running track is NOT the same as running on a football field in pad and holding on to a football. also track stars are fast running in a straight line. Trindon is fast running around other people (not just in a line).

hey may have been, but he did not ever seem fast to opposing teams.

Not to mention his hands were not that great.

Chris Rainey at Florida is pretty fast.

yeah....i second that. And if you didn't see him in the spring game then check him out 40 seconds in. Pretty nice little catch and run for a RB. Can't wait to see our new corners working on him this year.....

Not sure how to link, but if you google "Fastest Players in College Football" they have a list for 2008. It shows Jeff Demps 1st, Trindon Holliday 2nd Jacoby Ford 3rd ....lists the top 10.

I may be missing it, but I still don't see where the 4.2 (or 4.22) number is coming from. I see it being refered to but not information about when and where the 4.22 was run.
