Best chance to get a boost in ranking was right after Elite 11. NO new offers after elite 11. The new offers would have helped boost the rankings. Kid has broken records and still nothing new. Got blown out by Brother martin. I like both of them. If someone like Herman comes, Scott is a better fit. More Greg Ward'ish.

In this business, I don't get attached to recruits. New coaches don't always honor old offers. They want to bring in their own guys. Its good that MB is stilled to committed to us. No guarantee that the new staff will be committed to him.

ESPN did boost MB to a 4 star. He only camped with LSU this summer. MB is probably viewed as a system QB playing in an Air Raid offense his market is smaller. Elite 11 ended in mid July so MB's exposure was late on the national scene. Will be interesting to see if more schools offer him now with Miles

He was already a 4 star ESPN guy before the LSU. He got a 247 bump after the elite 11. He is still a composite 3 star. I do think it will be interesting. I know that guys can put on weight. But guys with his measurables - slight frame typically get slow played. I think his recruitment is going great. But there tons of traditional powers that have passed on him. Will be interesting to see how the new staff accesses him.
