This is a HUGE pickup for LSU. I must admit that I never thought we would get a high quality OT in this class. LES AND STUD have a background in ol and midwest, that probably helped a lot.

HUGE, HUGE PICKUP.

Can probably bet it'll be a battle to hold on to w/ Urban at OSU, but impressive OOS recruiting this year so far. Big step up this year.

I was going to ask about this. Didn't want to seem like I was a Debbie Downer today. The Prez got into me today.

How much will LSU have to hold off Ohio St.?

Also, is there a link to an Ohio St. Message board to read the reactions to this?

Wow! Les and Co have been keeping things pretty hush hush this year. Quite a few surprises recently.

OSU already has a commitment from a top 10 offensive tackle named Evan Lisle. Some of the sites have him ranked higher than Pocic, so I don't think they will be a huge factor.

Great Pickup! Going to be a dogfight, but I like being the lead dog!

I think everyone is still jaded on the Gunner Kiel situation, but we've held on to OOS guys before. The way his and Rettig's commits came I love our chances on NSD.

HUGE get for LSU and a future 1st rounder IMHO, dancing bear type LT athleticism and mauling type on film

Here's his quote from 247:
quote:

“Basically they’re all about the O-line,” Pocic said. “Coach (Les) Miles was an O-lineman. Coach (Greg) Stud(rawa) is the offensive coordinator and the O-Line coach. They’re all about O-linemen and they run the ball so much.”
