I feel sorry for AAC quarterbacks. There's not many lineman that will be able to stop him in that conference

With Herman such a hot commodity, what makes Oliver think he will be there past maybe one to two more years. Was there some type of family connection at Houston?

Herman will make UH a great job. Wouldn't be surprised if the cougs end up in the Big 12.. they need a Champ game bad especially after these bowl disasters

That was the only thing I thought would be how Herman stayed. If he knew that Houston would soon be in the BIG XII.

It doesn't matter if Houston joins the Big 12 or not. Its still very far from being a major football program like the big boys (Bama, Florida, LSU, Texas, Mich, USC, etc.).

Herman knows he has a TON of players coming back next year and will be just as good. He will have a bidding war for his services after next year. You know he sees Texas struggling.

This. The committee will heavily penalize the Big 12 next year based on this year's bowls. The extra game may be their only hope.

Besides, the Houston market looms big for other conferences that might want to poach. Pac-12 would love to be Pac-14 regardless of where the school is.

Didn't need the Under Armour game to know he's the real deal. His junior film is some of the best I've ever watched.
