The quote from his dad was from Ross Dellenger Advocate sports writer.

But I do agree. We're just speculating.

Again, new to recruiting, but does anyone know the stats, roundabout, of players who have previously committed DE-commiting so they can "enjoy the process" actually staying with that original school?

Derrius Guice and Xavier Lewis from the 2015 class. Ed Alexander from the 2016 class, even thou Ed A. is just a verbal recommitment at this point.

Let's cool it with the accusations.
Thank you, geez, our fans definitely have the catastrophe syndrome about everything. Dylan will be a Tiger. Being uncommitted just allows other schools the chance to whine and dine the young man more than if he was committed to us. Relax people.

His dad probably left the board because Miles and Saban asked him to.

Be very careful what you post out of frustration because the Gumps are lurking.

I have no objections to the things he's saying in his press release. If I was the #1 player in the country, which I'm not, but if I were, I'd do the same thing. In fact, if I were in his shoes, I'd waste as much of the other school's time and efforts as I could before making my decision. I hope he's a Tiger in the end, but I think getting out and stretching my legs sounds pretty damn fun.

With the staff we have right now, I would be shocked if that were the case

You guys are delusional if yall think he decommitted just to get more attention from schools.

Yeah it's funny people saying that. They're acting like committed players are off limits to other schools. Everyone was still recruiting the hell out of him.

Oh but he wants to experience being recruited by everyone...........

I am sure he will make a decision best for him when he graduates from High School. Good luck to him

Hope all is well and he's not letting others outside his home cloud his decision.

Reading his statement gives a lot of insight into what kind of person he is. I knew he is a great prospect from a physical stand point, but from a class standpoint his words show him equally impressive as a human being. I agree with him he needs to know what is right for him. It's not over by a long shot recruitment wise, but what I read today made me want him in the fold even more. I don't know who his parents are, but kudos to how they are raising a quality person all around.
