I'm hoping this is just so he can have his moment in the spotlight on signing day, and nothing more.

I'm guessing a 17 year old athlete being recruited will find many things to enjoy on other campuses. And it's likely why he's taking the trips. God forbid the kid enjoy his recruitment.

Word through the grapevine is he was walking around practice saying he wanted to get some free trips and get some free stuff. 100% LSU still.

Agreed, but you only get 5 official visits. Everything else must be unofficial and you have to pay for travel/food/hotel. Why not milk the process for what it's good for?

Should be only for free trips, however he does not have to de-commit for that. Just let the coaches know what he is doing

Miles has been known in the past to tell recruits something similar to what Moses is saying now... if you're committed, you're committed. If you want to take visits to other schools, you're not committed.
