Born and raised in Baton Rouge and supporting the Purple and Gold since I could walk, It is hard to grasp why others from BR don't bleed P&G. DM has a God-Given talent and a golden key to LSU and wants to look at the enemy? Hopefully he is just taking his visits and enjoying the spotlight but comes home where he belongs.

Dylan certainly isn't my son, but my son likes Alabama. I ask him why sometimes... I mean he wears LSU stuff, goes to lsu tailgates, has season tickets for a few years running to hoops games....

He tells me he just wants to be different. I would assume that holds true for these kids who go to a rival.

OMG...he is wearing Alabama gloves at practice. This is bad.....I knew it was over when my son started wearing Iron Man Underoos over Superman and started eating stopped eating his Spinach and wearing his Wonder Twins ring.

I'm kind of surprised how all-LSU he is - I took the decommitment way more seriously. He sounds like a kid just fishing for attention and keeping himself in the news (not that there's anything wrong with that since he deserves the attention). I'm outright shocked that he hasn't had major contact from Saban directly yet.

If he wanted to be different he'd be a fan of The UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs. Bama has had bandwagon fans since forever. They're the Cowboys & Yankees of college football. That's why kids like them. You don't hear them saying this kind of shite about Vandy or State. It's kind of slowed down a bit since they haven't won a NC in a few years now though.

He's trying to avoid local hate. Saban is in his head and he's a secret commit to the elefantes

Exactly, I wonder where all those bulls fans from the 90s and where are all those unbearable Miami heat fans.

Well, I loved MJ and therefore loved the Bulls. So I'm right here!

However, NBA is a terrible analogy. It's way more about the player than the team for many people.

Serious question:

Is Dylan as elite as we thought he would develop to be? He has the tangibles, but what about his game film and production on the field in a weak division in high school?

I ask, because I don't know.

Are his measurables still getting more insane or has the rest of the field caught up a lot?

He's a once in a generation talent. He has continued to prove that. He will be as dominant at lb as fournette has been at rb.

Has it been confirmed that's where he wishes to play?

And has he absolutely dominated the 2A competition in high school like a man among boys? (like Fournette did at St. Aug in 5A starting his freshman year)

That's awesome Louisiana has produced two rare, generational talents if so.

God I swear some you are so delusional. Especially the ones who keep saying he is "ALL LSU." Believe me I can assure you he is NOT "all LSU" at this point in time! Bama is a VERY SERIOUS player in the game right now for Dylan and probably has the lead at this point. Not to say we can't reel him back in, but to continue to automatically assume we have no worries and getting him to commit back to us will be easy is just ridiculous. If he were "ALL LSU" then he would have never decommitted in the first place to reevaluate his recruitment process and explore all options. I'm not saying he won't commit back to LSU eventually, bc that could very well happen, I'm just saying his recruitment will be a dogfight with Bama. Now downvote away, but sometimes the truth and reality are hard pills to swallow.

We are all just speculating on Moses, but the majority of the evidence seems to support that he is just wanting to enjoy the process. He says LSU is still number one, he said that he wanted to enjoy the process, and he is at nearly every LSU game.

I don't understand why LSuperior responded to my post though because I never said anything about where he was going!

Will we be having this conversation if Saban is sitting in Indianapolis I'm
January? It seems like this year has really worn on him and a change of scenery may not be out of the question.
