re: Simply put...Peat was the BEST pick we could have made at 13 - LSUperior
This thread is meaningless AFTER the fact. Where were you the past 2 months not telling us about how great Peat was?
Peat was not projected to be there at that point! We had no way of knowing that until the draft played out! I bet you are one of the ones that were salivating at t...

Simply put...Peat was the BEST pick we could have made at 13 - LSUperior
Freakishly huge atheletic young Olineman that's plays like a monster with tons of potential. Games are won in the trenches and we were severely lacking the big uglies! I can guarantee you Brees had a lot of influence with this pick and probably told them "Hey, I got my head almost taken off all year...

So where is everyone getting to pick Sam Dekker around 10-12??? We don't even have a pick at that spot...are they assuming trade? ...

Fill me in on our current draft situation - LSUperior
Haven't been following too closely, but are we expected to have a first round pick in this years draft? I remember there was a protected first round pick in the Holiday trade. ...

re: My take on the upcoming draft.... - LSUperior
I was sold on La'el but reading some scouting reports, he appears to be just an average pass blocker and a mauler for the run game. This makes sense considering how often our QBs were pressured during LSU games. We need someone who is going to protect Drew & open up holes for the run game.[/q...

My take on the upcoming draft.... - LSUperior
MOST important is to continue to build a solid deep oline...that's when Brees is at his best and can pick ANY defense apart given enough time and protection. 1st priority pick: Brandon Scherff OL Iowa and if he is not available then La'el Collins would be my next target 2nd priority pick: Kevi...

So just how good is Max Unger? - LSUperior
Simple question. Don't know much about him, but Seattle seemed to have all day to throw the ball at times last year. So fill me in please!...

Chidi Valetine-Okeke....what recruiting site has him as a 5*? - LSUperior
I thought we had absolutely no chance landing him, so once we did I began looking up info on him and 247sports even put up an article explaining how "LSU lands 5* OT" but Rivals only has him as a 3* :dunno: ? I assumed he automatically dropped to 3 stars this morning once he committed to us inst...

re: Best skill talent ever? - LSUperior
2010 would have something to say: Peterson Mathieu Reid Randle Loston Ridley Mingo Montogomery Logan Brockers Minter Sheppard Claiborne Simon These all PROVEN over time, so like mentioned before me, in terms of raw talent it could be debatable but until results are displayed on ...

re: Who is percieved to be a better RB stud? - LSUperior
Majority will say Guice bc he has the big play ability at any given moment, can catch too! Not really sure about his blocking skills or picking up QB blitzs. Brosette actually reminds me a lot of Darrel Williams, just a workhorse....plain and simple! Give him enough carries and you will start to ...

re: Tyron Johnson vs Malachi Dupre comng out of highschool? - LSUperior
From what I've gathered thus far, Johnson is a lot more physical (ex: getting off press coverage at the line) and bodying out DBs. Seems like Dupre would have the edge in leaping ability....but who knows??? That's why I'm asking these things....

Tyron Johnson vs Malachi Dupre comng out of highschool? - LSUperior
Given what we know now and Dupre having a season under his belt. Who would y'all say is the better prospect coming out of highschool? Is it fair to say that Johnson is more college ready than Dupre was coming out of highschool? What about purely from raw talent perspective (quickness, hands, physica...
