LSU has needs at WR, they have and NFL OC,
Nothing is a sure deal for any CFB team.

If you don't know where you want to go to school less than two weeks before the decision date you're probably not telling the truth. Nothing against anyone for playing the field. I just like supporting the guys we already have. When and if he commits he'll get that same support.

The JC bashing has to stop. Its not true at all and is another myth created by posters. Name 1 kid from JC we wanted since McKnight that we didn't get? Its old
The issue with Dupre is the JC policy. The kid has had very little exposure to other schools outisde of LSU and that allowed us as fans and our staff/insiders to get overconfident. Of course he's been an LSU lean all the time, he's barely seen or heard the pitches from other schools. Hes getting them now and is impressed. Lets not pretend that this is a Noil/GW situation where he's seen it all because he hasn't. His process just got started in terms of serious pushes. I think home wins in the end but I'm not gonna be suprised either way. Definitely not in the way I was with Brown and Willis. If JCs policy allowed him to se all this earlier then we wouldn't be so set in on his "lock" status for so long. All this wouldve already happened and we would be able to sift through the bull and make a guess. With what we have, we have no choice but to take the bs at face value and put more emphasis on it because its all happening so fast and so close to signing day. Basically we are getting a years worth of a recruitment in 3 weeks and its not easy to sift through.
As for the instate issues this year, its a strange year and imo is a bunch of kids backlashing against the staff because of Fournette. We put entirely too much emphasis on Fournette and other kids took it in a bad way and revolted against it. Not saying its right or wrongbut when the history of this class is looked back upon it will all start and end with Fournette. Did the emphasis on him hurt or help us when we look back in 5 years? Can't say now because of some rankings on a site. When they are all done and the seasons have ben played we will know if LF was worth it or not. Not as a player but as the focal point of an entire class. Next year will be so much simpler and normal

Some guys don't know where they want to go even after they have already faxed their paper in on NSD.

This is dumb! Why wouldn't we put much of our focus on the best football player in the country at a huge position of need? Kids like Brandon Harris, Quinn, Washington and numerous others don't seem to mind

If he goes he will only have one year with Winston

and Speedy was worried about drug testing.
By any chance is that why they call him "speed" y?
Just wondering.
Dupre please stay home!

FYI...WR JoJo Robinson, a Florida State commit, has been told there will not be room for him in the Seminole class. He has announced that his final 3 are Arkansas, Auburn, and LSU.
We pursued him some a while ago but stopped when he showed little interest. He appears now to be initiating some contact. Auburn and Arkansas have pursued him hard and I expect him to sign with one of them, probably Auburn.

I think Malachi and everyone else understands that so if he picks FSU it's not because of the one year with him

Why does someone pointing out that a large # of JC kids chose to go elsewhere strike you as bashing? Fact is that is true. See below (from Wiki article on JC players). I see more not going to LSU than going.
