to run back kick offs and punt returns?? White and Fournette need replacements. Yea, Fournette performed well in the bowl game but that's not his schtick.

I don't know if Jamal Adams has the speed but I'd like to see him do it. I love the way the kid plays.

Did White muff a punt all year? He misplayed a few, but going a full season without a major error is not bad.

Fournette and White performed well in the return game, but you don't want your star RB and your shutdown corner returning kicks

LF averaged 26.04yards per return, which is 4th in the SEC out of qualified players. And OBJ averaged just about half a yard more than he did last year.

Tre White averaged 10.92yards per punt return, which is more than OBJ ever had at LSU. And it's 5th in the SEC out of all returners with double digit return.

And both guys had solid ball security while returning.

Tre does need to do a better job at calling for a fair catch and not letting the ball bounce, but other than that he did a fine job. As did LF. Now next year we will be leaning on LF more, and probably Tre White as well but he was our CB1 this year and was a key player for us.

Not sure who would return punts if not White, maybe Adams? But I think Guice could return kicks for us.

Personally, I'm fine with White returning punts, but I think Donte Jackson could do well back there even as a true freshman.

White has great potential but needs coaching up a bit more IMO. He's been taught not to let a punt get over his head but he typically plays too deep, resulting in many short punts bouncing for huge yards. Learn to go back on the ball and cut off most of those short punts and then he'll be a great one.

With the caliber of athlete LSU is consistently reeling in, we will never be short on special teams studs.

No kickoffs, no Heisman. Fournette will return kickoffs!

No way he contends as only a RB, not in our committee system.
