Are we just assuming he would accept if we offered? He may tell us to take a flying you-know-what.

How tall was Herb Tyler?

His LSU bio says he was 6'0. I am 5'10" and stood next to him when he was at LSU and he wasn't any taller than me.

Don't come in here yellin at people. If you don't like what's being talked about get the hell outta here. Scott's obviously between 5'11 and 6'1 or so. As far as the "other sec teams haven't offered" Nobody wanted Dak including us, sometimes really good kids get overlooked bc of a measurement, maybe an old measurement, he could have grown, DJ Chark grew his senior year, the sites had him listed at 5'11 or 6'0... I hope we give the kid a look...There have been a couple times the past couple seasons I sure wished we had Herb again... I think it would be a shame to not give the kid a close look

The most important takeaway from Scott's recruitment is that it is not just LSU that isn't interested in him....its EVERY SEC school who arent interested!

How many SEC schools offered Patrick Mahomes, the TT QB that we chased around in the Texas Bowl and made plays out of nothing?!? I would certainly take him, as most on here would. At some point, someone has got to work out with the proper development! Give the kid a chance!

Yeah, I was really saying it in jest but it doesn't come across when typed, I just started posting, I don't know how to do the faces... Just watched a couple highlights. He would be a guy that would keep our offense on the with his scrambling. That's what we want, I'd like us to take a chance, if it doesn't work out it won't be the first or last time

Do we even have any idea if he'd want to come to LSU?

His NFL odds are likely slim, maybe he wants to go somewhere he'd have a better chance to start for 2-3 years?
