I've never seen him. ALOT of people on here really like him, it seems like we've struck out on all our OOS guys. I say why not, guys a winner, at least it'll give us another guy learning and ready to compete after Harris/Etling leaves. If you have 4-5 decent prospects competing at least you have a better chance to find a good starter, we just can't continue with this 1-2 options at QB deal. I'd say give him a chance

I really do think it's time. I also think the kid could turn into something special. Could.

I would rather offer another LB or DT than a QB who does not fit the offense that LSU runs. Isn't Scott a dual threat? We been that route before and it don't work.

I've seen his film. Reminds me of Trindon Holiday.

I think we may as well take a shot on him. whats the worse that can happen he not work out for us and he transfers? You never know he may be the tyrann mathieu of this class.

I definitely wouldn't compare his ranking to TM out of high school

Rankings no.....but he has played in the highest level of football in La and put up great numbers the last two years. Guaranteed if you put his stats up without stating his name or height people would be burning this place down bc we haven't offered a home state qb that was Gatorade player of the year in La

How? Holliday was a track star who played running back in high school? Scott plays qb who's not even close to that speed

QBs are for pussies. LSU plays grown man football not gimmicky QB offenses.

Scott is in the same makeup as Russell Wilson. He can play and is worth an offer. LSU acts like they walk on water and recruit qbs like they're too good for many of them. This attitude and lack of contact and diligence is hurting LSU. Russo and Scott could have easily been part of this class.

Sorry I should have said recruitment not ranking. TM want exactly a sleeper though, yes there were question marks but as expected with his size. But his ability still kept him high enough to be a top 300 prospect. I believe he would have held a lot more offers if he kept his recruitment open for his senior season.

I would hope not. The kid doesn't fit the offense, and I feel that we would ruin the kid. This is by no means a knock on LSU. I just see him ending up like a Paul Turner type if he came here.

Tulane is all over him and I think he'd be phenomenal in a Willie Fritz offense.

Big thing is not striking out next year. Just my opinion.
