Scott is legit. He's in no way a different style than Haskins. He can legitimately throw the rock around. If Scott was 6'2" he'd be a top 10 qb in this class easily and maybe even top 5. At the camp, Cam basically ignored him and spent 90% of his time working with Franks. Honestly, Franks was not very impressive there outside of having the strongest arm by a good amount.

I'm not saying he's not legit. I think he's a terrific player. That being said, do you honestly see him being used as a QB here?

I don't think Cameron is going to take a QB just to take one. I'm sure Scott and Wudtee will get a closer look, but don't see either ending up here. All of this just makes QB a HUGE priority next year.

Good God offer the kid already. Obvious he has the skills to play ball.

Scott looks to be about 5'"9. Way too small to play SEC qb.

He's going to play qb. I don't think LSU will sign him because of his size.

What is the knock on him? Is it just his height? What else? Our problem with QB has been between the ears. I wouldn't mind a guy who is willing to wait his turn and learn the offense. If that is Scott, then why not offer if he has the basic skills to play at this level?

I think he's ahead of a lot of guys as far as understanding the position. I really think he's a kid that can help us at some point. Herb Tyler was 5'10" or 5'11"

He's pretty short for a qb. Definitely shorter than Wilson, Brees, and probably right around Herb.

I don't know if this kid is SEC caliber but if he's close, the fact he's obviously intelligent based on his offer list can't hurt

It's a no brainer. Even if he's a kid that can backup for us, he's right around the corner and can ball.

Cam doesn't even see a qb of his height. Expect to hear a name you haven't heard in a while come up like maybe Deuce Wallace for a qb prospect.

Scott is in the same makeup as Russell Wilson. He can play and is worth an offer.

The guy works his butt off, is smart, and plays above his maybe "less than ideal" stature.

He's a winner, and I'd take that over a token QB any day…
