Auburn has only thrown 16 passes in the last 3 GAMES! That is every receivers dream.

And yet, ol' Gus has pulled in his share of WR's that are pretty damn good.

I'm not saying the kid should go to fricking Auburn because they have a kick-arse passing game. I am saying Malzahn is known as an offensive minded guy who runs an Oregon-esque spread. It's appealing to skill players.

I remember that time one of Malzahn's offenses threw a TD pass to a WR against LSU. It was 7 years ago and hasn't happened since.

True to a point. However, these kids aren't dumb. They can see that Auburn clearly isn't worried about throwing the football. Meanwhile, LSU is about to put 2 WRs in the first 2 rounds of the NFL draft. Now which one is more appealing??

all of these kids think they are ready to play as freshman.. but most arent

I truly agree on this. Even Treadwell is doing better than expected and he is the #2 WR on Ole Miss and has a little over 400 yards and 3 TDs.

Beckham's true fresh year was 475 2 TDs.

It is rare for a TRUE freshman to be a major impact on his team but those that do are NFL rookie great material and usually the top 3 WRs/ATH of their class. I expect to see Leslie, Spears, Diarse, and Dural hold firmly to most of the top spots. Quinn might sneak in and maybe Dupre, but those guys we have now are going to be the most targeted.

name me at least two good Oregon-esque WRs in the time Kelly was there? I don't know of any WRs under Malzahn who've gone higher than fifth in the draft. Cam will put two in the top 3 rounds and Miles/Crowton had two go in the top 3 rounds. LSU has put more WRs in the NFL than any other SEC team in recent memory.
