Ellitor with a great question. I remember earlier in the recruiting cycle some people were saying Noil (I think) didnt like Quille, but then another person said that was Rueben and D Benton. I know how the RR and Benton story unfolded, but idk if there is any validity to the Noil/Quille thing. This recruiting cycle is driving me up a wall! We have a lot of eggs in one basket and with them all waiting till the end to announce, it is a boom or bust scenario. and prayers for a big ole BOOM scenario!

it's my only concern with him. I've heard a lot of people don't get along with him because of his in your face personality. I don't know though. Never met him. My only concern is when he gets kicked out of games for punching. Is he a team player? Will he split the team? No idea.

I'd rather have a average player than a TO in the locker room.

Amen to that. TO was never worth the risk, IMO. As much as it would help having Quille, idk if I would pass on a Noil/Dupre for him. 1 year of Quille vs. 3 years of Noil/Dupre...? Tough question. But I hope what we hear is just hear-say and carries no real value. Bring them all in!

You have Quinn, Dupre & Noil - if we sign all 3 no need for Quille. Now if Noil goes elsewhere, different story. Stay tuned......

There are 2 players IMO that can change our W-L record next year, Fournette and Quille. Both play at positions that are crucial for a new young QB. I think if we land both, thats the difference between 8-4 and 9-3 at least. Hopefully more

How many passes did they attempt against LSU? Miss St? C'mon, you're the smart one on this thread, do some fact checking.

They had to throw against LSU because they trailed the entire game. 33 attempts. 34 attempts against MSU. A game in which they also trailed. Take a look at the rest of their schedule. Their rushing attempts double their pass attempts in most and quadruple the pass attempts in some. 9 against Arky, 7 against UT. They had 20+ attempts 3 other times.

When you can pretty much run at will against an opponent, no need to throw. What they have rushing against UT...400 yds? 500? But Malzahn's never afraid to pitch it around. If you've followed CFB, you'll know this about him.

He's not at Tulsa anymore. Gus wants to run the ball 40 times a game.

What seems more appealing to this particular kid? Like you, I have no fricking idea. But it sounds like he's headed to Auburn.

My guess is getting drafted. LSU 100% offers him a better chance to do so.

disagree

3 yrs Noil/Dupre >>>

quille is better now but Noil and Dupre will be as good by their JR years, and we miss out on 2 years of them being solid producers

no doubt that we choose noil/dupree over quille but we still may go after quille hard LATE.

Quille is talented no doubt but he has been ejected from 2 JUCO games this season and had probably a dozen 15 yard flags thrown on him for unsportsmanlike conduct.

But damn he can go up and get the ball...

he may be another Les Miles doghouse victim.

On the other hand, as long as he doesn't fumble he may be good to go.

He could have been ejected in every juco game. I want him to play for Lsu. #rideforquille

Bad angles, missed tackles, completely lost, and missed assignments are ok but but but you best not fumble that ball

The guy is an obvious football talent (Williams) but so are the other three clearly. I'd much rather have the three above for 3-5 years.

Not to mention, his on the field antics really make it that much more clear.
