I like this runningback. He is an extreme North-South runner. About 80% of his runs go to the inside, taking the shortest route. I would like to see him get a shot at returning punts.

Derrius Guice - Clocked at 4.36, 4.40, and 4.42 at camps. The 4.6 was a freshman time and it hasnt been updated on recruiting services.

The kid reminds me of D McCoy of Pitt a while back and now of the eagles. Has a lil Barry but not quiet. Just a tad more acceleration and speed and he would be Barry! He's a great back and one we need to get though. Going to look great in Purple and Gold.

Yea i agree hes like McCoy, but more power than finesse.
Kids going to be awesome for us. Again, hes all LSU. So explosive. He will be great coming in to give LF a breather.

Hes def as fast right now at least. Guice is 5'11 and 205 right now. If he could get up to 215 by the time he gets to LSU... look out. Still would run well below a 4.5 at that size too.
But, over the past summer Guice was clocked at a 4.36, 4.40, and a 4.42 at college camps.
Noil runs in the 4.40 range too.

That's an incredible highlight tape. I hope he's stays home, but I'm thinking he sees LSU's backfield too crowded and re-creates the Catholic-FSU pipeline. Dunn, Minor, Guice?

Way wrong.... hes all LSU and will be a Tiger. I expect him to commit before his senior year.
And its not like itll be that crowded by the time he gets to LSU. Magee will be gone. Hopefully LF and D Williams. Thats really about it. He and Brossette will be in the 2015 class. And out of those 4 Rbs, Guice is the 1 with a different skill set.

Not yet... but he tweets out LSU stuff all the time and last week said hes thinking about committing, with purple and gold hears after that... He will be at LSU.

I've looked on the four major recruiting sites and LSU is his only offer (Louisiana Tech on Rivals, but that's it). That is criminal to me. Guy, you are already loved by the LSU recruiting fanatics, just come on and join the party.

I know Weiner doesnt like his underclassmen players dealing with the recruiting stuff during the season until they are seniors. So I wouldnt be surprised if a lot of offers head Guices way in the future.
